Trivia

• Unlike it's real life counterpart, the M16 as presented in the game is technically not an assault rifle, as it does not offer automatic or burst fire. The gun instead acts more like the civilian grade AR15 sporting rifle.
• This gun, as the same as the AK, also has a flashlight that doesn't operate.
• Many players dislike this gun because it's semi-automatic
• It is the 2nd most accurate rifle in the game, after the Garand. although it's accuracy is still highly questionable as it is very possible to miss stationary targets even at close range.
• It has seen a rise in demand since the addition of the Garand in the game, due to the M16 being the gun needed to craft it. The gun itself however still remains very unpopular when actually used as a weapon.
• The mesh itself comes from the game Left 4 Dead 2.
• Unless you have the Garand blueprint, this weapon isn't really worth getting.
